Stockholm, Sweden – Net Insight's new Nimbra Connect iT solution has enabled Safari Solutions to support its end customer with the first-ever global distribution of media content, without needing a third party involved. The sports content distribution from point of production to consumer platforms ensure robust, fully redundant internet delivery for tier 1 sports and seamless integration of cloud IP and baseband SDI.

Safari Solutions leverages the power of Nimbra Connect iT to provide a fully managed service that enables the end customer to focus solely on the business of content creation and monetisation. The end customer is able to harness the benefits of a new distribution model with significant cost reduction and increased control of its streams and overall brand.

Net Insight Interim Report January – June 2024

Investments drive increased growth and profitability
The quarter's historically high turnover of 176 MSEK and operating profit of 38 MSEK were driven by higher order values and a larger software order. Our strong brand and deep technical expertise are increasingly cited as the reason for choosing us as a partner. We have achieved an important milestone in standardizing future secure 5G networks, and we are securing more contracts with customers who wish to integrate our Zyntai product into their network expansions.

Net sales amounted to SEK 176.1 (126.3) million, an increase of 39.5% year-on-year. In comparable currencies net sales increased by 39.6%.
Operating earnings amounted to SEK 38.3 (9.9) million, corresponding to an operating margin of 21.8% (7.8%). Excluding currency exchange rate differences, operating earnings amounted to SEK 36.2 (11.6) million.
The software order of SEK 30 million, which was announced during the quarter, contributed to the higher revenue and strong results. Excluding the software order, growth was 15.5% and the operating profit improved compared to the same period last year.
Net income for the period amounted to SEK 30.4 (10.9) million, corresponding to a net margin of 17.3% (8.6%).
Earnings per share diluted was SEK 0.09 (0.03).
Total cash-flow was SEK -16.1 (-12.4) million. Cash-flow, excluding share-related transactions, was SEK -11.0 (-8.0) million.

January – June 2024

Net sales amounted to SEK 318.6.5 (252.9) million, an increase of 26.0% year-on-year. In comparable currencies net sales increased by 25.5%.
Operating earnings amounted to SEK 48.9 (21.9) million, corresponding to an operating margin of 15.4% (8.7%). Excluding currency exchange rate differences, operating earnings amounted to SEK 52.0 (24.3) million.
Net income for the period amounted to SEK 44.6 (21.3) million, corresponding to a net margin of 14.0% (8.4%).
Earnings per share diluted was SEK 0.13 (0.06).
Total cash-flow was SEK -31.2 (-42.2) million. Cash-flow, excluding share-related transactions, was SEK -17.9 (-29.4) million.

Net Insight partners with TST to enter the mainland China market for Time synchronization

Net Insight and Times Sage Tech Ltd (TST) have entered a partnership to enable resilient time synchronization in mainland China. TST will invest in a pilot system to showcase Net Insight's unique and GNSS-independent time synchronization solution Zyntai across mainland China. This is the first order for the Zyntai solution for the Chinese market.

China is the world's largest 5G market and the fast rate of digitization and high focus on security means a large potential for resilient time synchronization. Net Insight's network-based and hardware-independent sync solution will enable telecom operators and private network providers to further accelerate deployment of critical 5G networks and applications. TST is a renowned systems integrator and part of Century Sage Scientific Group focused at providing communication equipment throughout APAC.

Time synchronization is a fundamental function in 5G and other critical infrastructure often delivered through GPS/GNSS satellites. However, GPS/GNSS is highly vulnerable to jamming and spoofing and Net Insight and TST will provide a GPS/GNSS-independent solution assuring secure and resilient infrastructure, which is essential for delivery of high accuracy time synchronization across any type of underlying network technology.

Net Insight wins large software order

Stockholm, Sweden – Net Insight has received an order from one of its largest media customers in the US market for their purchase of perpetual software licenses. The order value is about SEK 30 million (USD 2.8 million) to be recognized in the second quarter 2024.

The software will be used on Net Insight hardware that has already been delivered in previous quarters.
