Net Insight strengthens APAC footprint as partner ITOCHU Cable Systems places an order for continuing time synchronization trials in Japan
Stockholm, Sweden – Building on a year of successful customer proof-of-concepts, Net Insight today announces that its long-standing partner ITOCHU Cable Systems has placed a smaller initial order for continuing and broadening network-based, GNSS-resilient time synchronization trials in Japan. The order will be delivered in Q1, 2026.
The momentum for resilient, network-based timing continues to build across the Asia-Pacific region, with Japan standing out as one of the most advanced and strategically significant markets for next-generation mobile and critical infrastructure. Japanese operators are increasingly prioritizing timing accuracy, resilience, and operational simplicity as they evolve toward 5G-Advanced/5.5G and beyond.
The ITOCHU Group has been a trusted partner to Net Insight for many years. In the area of time synchronization, Net Insight works closely with ITOCHU Cable Systems, its system integrator partner, to bring carrier-grade timing solutions to the Japanese market.
